Centre for Hermeneutical Research
The Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary established the Centre for Hermeneutical Research Institute in 2010. The Institution employs a part-time administrator who acts in accordance with the instructions of the director of the institution.
The Jonathan Edwards Centre-Hungary was constituted in 2012 under the aegis of the Centre for Hermeneutical Research Institute in order to facilitate and stimulate the research on Jonathan Edwards’ life and work. The JCE-Hungary works in collaboration with the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University, New Haven.

The Foundation of the Center for Hermeneutical Research
The Foundation of the Centre for Hermeneutical Research was established in 1993 by the leaders and professors of the Faculty of Theology and Humanities of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary and the Lutheran Theological University with the contribution of the associates of the Eötvös Loránd University and the Baptist Theological Seminary. This particular institution was the first in Hungary which came into existence following the principle of integration of the institutions of higher education and complying with interdenominationalism. The work of the Foundation is coordinated by the Board. TheFoundation has been the publisher of the Hermeneutical Booklets (Hermeneutikai Füzetek) since 1994 besides many other publications.
